College English Vocabulary Acquisition and Teaching:An Interactive Study

The problems of nonEnglish majors in their vocabulary acquisition result not only from the lack of effective strategies on the part of themselves, but also from the deficiency of due attention to the instruction of the strategies and the neglect of their difficulties on the part of the teacher. The author of this paper makes an investigation into the interactions between students and teachers in college English vocabulary teaching, the result of which validates the abovementioned hypothesis.
