Abstract

A method for the determination of manganese, phosphorus and vanadium in iron slag with high content titanium without separation by ICP-AES was established. The interferences of matrix effect and co-existing ions were tested and eliminated by simultanous background correction and K correction factor. The physical and chemical effect caused by sample were corrected by matrix match. The analytical spectral lines and optimal instrument working conditions were selected. The method has been applied to the determination of Mn,P and V in iron slag with high content titanium samples, and the results obtained are in good agreement with those ones achieved by other chemical methods.
