On the Relationship between Water Environment and Economic Development Based on EKC in Heilongjiang Province

Based on EKC,the article selects the environmental and economic data 1996-2010 in Heilongjiang Province,constructs the EKC model of water environment and economic development,analyzes the curve characteristics of the water environment and economic development.Results indicate that the relationship between the discharge amount of industrial wastewater and GDP per capita exhibits inverted N,due to the adjustment of the industrial structure,funding to environment protection and strengthening the environmental management,the contradiction between water environment and economic development appears to be easing with the increase of per-capita GDP.
