Prospects and project analysis of five commonly used proton pump inhibitors

Peptic ulcer is a common and frequently-occurring disease.Proton pump inhibitor is the most powerful drug in inhibiting gastric acid secretion.Their prospects and whether the projects can be carried out were the focus of attention.This paper investigated listing status of five commonly used proton pump inhibitors at home and abroad,retrieved patents of the proton pump inhibitors in China and analyze the state.The results showed that Omeprazole,Pantoprazole,Esomeprazole,Rabeprazole and Lansoprazole(with dexlansoprazole) had good prospects,though some of them had patent issues which should be pay attention.
