Since China began its reforms and open-up, Deng Xiaoping pondered over the new circumstances and put forward a lot of new opinions based on the adherence to Mao Zedong's view of development, which at the same time made theoretical breakthrough of Mao's development view. Making a comparison between the two leading-core's view of development can be of great significance in better understanding Deng's socialism development theory as well as its guidance to the practice of China's development.
