Abstract
The activities of PAL, POD and PPO increased in cucumber plants after treatment of 5 mmoL/L salicylic acid. The activities of PAL increased rapidly, and reached its maximum at 24 hours after treatment. The activities of PPO started to increase after 24 hours of treatment, and reached its maximum at 48 hours after treatment. The activities of POD started to increase after 8 hours of treatment, and reached its maximum at 48 hours after treatment. The relative control effect against powdery mildew of cucumber was 51.23% after 7 days of treatment.
