Clinical observation of Shenshuaikang Capsule on 120 patients with chronic renal failure

Objective To explore the clinical effect and the function of delay chronic renal failure development of Shenshuaikang Capsule on patients with chronic renal failure.Methods 120 patients with chronic renal failure were randomly divided into two groups.60 paients in the treatment group were administrated Shenshuaikang Capsule in addition to treated with western medicine.60 patients in the control group were given Coated Aldehyde Oxystarch Capsules besides the western medicine treatment.The clinical effect and the change of renal function were observed before and after treatment in both groups.Result The level of serum creatinine and urea nitrogen significantly decrease and the level of creatinine clearance rate significantly increased in the treatment group compared with the control group(P0.01).The total effectiveness rate was 96.7% in the treatment group and 68.3% in the control group,and there was a significant difference(P0.01).Conclusions Shenshuaikang Capsule combined with western medicine has a definite effect on chronic renal failure.
