The Missing Tradition of Chinese New Poetry ——New poetry pioneers of Southeast University in terms of history

In 1920s,pioneers of Southeast University,i.e.,Lu Zhiwei,Li Sichun and Zong Baihua,etc,carried out researches about Chinese new poetry in the background of studies of Chinese ancient civilization and thus formed a new poetry tradition totally different from that of Beijing University——emphasizing the building of new poetry itself and its Chinese character,highlighting modern poetical forms and wisdom.However,it is a pity that their poetical construction theory was overshadowed by radical anti-traditionalist poetry.It is good for the reconstruction of Chinese character of new poetry by tracing back to the new poetry tradition of Southeast University.
