Abstract

Transcutaneous immunization(TCI),a topical vaccine application,combines the advantages of needle-free delivery while targeting the immunologically rich milieu of the skin,this novel method of vaccine delivery has the potential to provide a convenient,safe and effective strategy for inducing strong mucosal antibody and CTL responses.Now,TCI as immunological mechanism、the adjuvant and broadly applicable approach to vaccination is discussed in the context.
