Abstract
This paper introduced the design and implementation of a high-speed data acquisition system, which was built by FPGA and EZ-USB FX2 USB2.0 chips.FPGA was used as the main controller to control the A/D converter and USB interface chip to achieve reliable high-speed sampling. The operation of FPGA controlling A/D chip ADS2807 and the realization of writing of USB subordination FIFO were studied. The experiment shows that the system is more reliable and the highest data transfers speed can be up to 20 MB/s.Besides,this system is also compact, portable which makes it especially suitable for mobile operations in the field.
