Abstract
Objective:To explore the relationship between the expression of estrogen receptor alpha(ERα),estrogen receptor beta(ERβ)and progesterone receptor in endometrial carcinoma tissue and the clinicopathologic feature. Methods:Using semi-quantitive reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR),we examined the expression of ERα、ERβ and PR mRNA in 50 cases of endometrial carcinoma tissues.Results:①ERα,ERβ and PR mRNA were detected in 74%,48% and 94%endometrial carcinoma, respectively. The average expression quantity of ERα,ERβ and PR mRNA in endometrial carcinoma was 0.5279±0.1295,0.3025±0.1687 and 0.6983±0.2864,respectively.The expression of ERα mRNA in endometrial carcinoma tissues significantly higher than ERβ mRNA(P0.01).②The positive rate of ERα and ERβ were higher in Endometrioid Adenocarcinoma than other histological subtypes(p0.05),respectively;While the average expression quantity of ERα and PR were higher in Endometrioid Adenocarcinoma than other histological subtypes(p0.05),respectively.③ Higher ERα and PR mRNA expression significantly correlated with histological grade(p0.05).④ Higher PR mRNA expression significantly correlated with the clinical-surgical stage(p0.05).Conclusion:The abnormal expression of ERα、ERβ and PR was closed related to histological subtype 、clinical-surgical stage and histological grade. Therefore, they maybe helpful for the diagnosis and endocrine therapy of Endometrial caocinoma.
