Abstract
Potato cultivar “Wai 2”was used to study the effects of B 9 and PP 333 at different concentration on in vitro plantlet growth. The results showed that B 9 at 5-30 mg/L and PP 333 at 0.1-1.0 mg/L inhibited in vitro potato plantlet growth in varying degrees, made node interval short and plantlet strong, increased chlorophyll content of plantlet leaf.Compared with B 9 treatment,PP 333 had better effect on promoting strong planlet culture. It suggested that one mechanisms through which PP 333 inducing strong planlet growth is to increase SOD activity of plantlet tissue.Different effects of plantlet growth were observed when it grew under room temperature and constant temperature respectively,as well.
