Abstract
In order to achieve Automatic accurate modeling of Involute Cylindrical Gear which is driven by parameters,the idea of parametric design and technical process have been researched based on secondary development of Pro/Engineer.The basic parameters of gear have been Obtained Through systemic analyzing on it's profile.The basic model of gear has been built.Then sample model of gear has been built, which can regenerate various 3D model of Involute Cylindrical Gear by inputting a few parameters.
