Strengthen Financial Support for Innovation on Agricultural Science and Technology and Modern Agricultural Development

On the central rural working conference held on Dec 27,2011,the consultative version of 2012 Central No.1 Document was discussed on improving innovation on agricultural science and technology and strengthening support for agricultural goods.It points out that agricultural science and technology is the backbone of modern agriculture.Strides should be made to push forward the innovation on agricultural science and technology,increase investment to agricultural science and technology,guide and encourage financial institutions and public fund to invest in agricultural science and technology.This paper analyzes the financing feature of modern agriculture and puts forward policy suggestion on how to strengthen financial support for agricultural science and technology.
