Discussion on the Teaching Reform in the Course of "Information Theory and Coding"

Information theory and Coding is one of the basic lessons for the students in communications.Since its contents need some complex mathematic background,it is difficult for the undergraduate student to study and master.In this paper,we discuss the reform methods from teaching theory and teaching method to improve the learning interest and the students' innovation ability based on the result of an investigation.Some reform methods have been put into action,the results show that these methods have improved the teaching effectively.
