Abstract
Using a uniform linear array(ULA) model, the mechanism that how mutual coupling affects several main DOA(Direction of Arrival) estimation algorithms such as conventional beamforming algorithm,Capon′s MVDR algorithm,MUSIC algorithm,ESPRIT algorithm and Root-MUSIC algorithm is analyzed, and then the simulation is performed using MATLAB.The analysis and simulation results show that the errors due to the mutual coupling enhance the errors of DOA estimation algorithms, reduce the probability of success, and degrade the performance of algorithms seriously.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
