Design of an Embedded Video Capturing System Based on ARM11

Abstract

With the rapid development of multimedia technology,video capturing has more implementation methods.A video capturing system based on ARM11 and embedded Linux is introduced.An embedded video server is built,and USB camera is used for capturing video real-time.The video stream is transmitted by USB WLAN card.Finally,video stream is played by Web browser in client.This system can independently complete video capturing and transmitting.Test results show that this system design is reasonable,and can run stably.It can be used in other fields such as remote monitoring system,smart home system.
