Abstract
This paper describes a kind of full bridge unidirectional high frequency-link inverter.Different from the high frequency cycloconverter an electrolytic capacitor was added in presented circuit .The benefit is that it can provide reactive power under inductive or capacitive load. The capacitor can also absorb leakage inductance energy of high frequency transformer. According to synchronous timing control of power devices, part of power devices can run under soft switching state. Its advantages include simple structure and control method, small volume, low noise and high efficiency. The feasibility of the proposed inverter technique is verified by simulative and experimental results.
