Comments on the Competitiveness of Modern Service Industry of Inner Mongolia

Modern service industry is an indicator of national and regional economic development degree. Although economic output growth accelerated in Inner Mongolia,the quality of industry development is not optimistic,especially the development of high quality industrial represented by the relatively backward modern services. Based on the data at the provincial level in 2013,and combining AHP with PCA constructs evaluation system of provincial modern service industry,we reach the following conclusions. Firstly,all around the country Inner Mongolia only ranked 24 for modern service industry competitiveness,ranked 23 for the modern service industry scale,ranked 24 for industry constitution,and ranked 22 for industry potential; Secondly,compared with the central and western provinces,autonomous regions are at the bottom of all provinces. Meanwhile,we find that less companies are engaged in the field of modern service industry. They lack infrastructure,the lower marketization and lower productive service-oriented.
