Abstract
Carbon/carbon composites(C/C) were prepared by thermal gradient chemical vapor infiltration (T-CVI) technology. The effects of heat tr eatment temperature on the graphitization degree, the hardness, the bending stre ngth and the friction performance of C/C composites were discussed. The results show that the graphitization degree of C/C composites are enhanced with the incr easing of the heat treatment temperature, and graphitizing energy peak of C/C co mposites is at 2200℃ nearly. The bending strength of C/C composites increases w ith the increasing of the heat treatment temperature to 2000℃,and then decrease s for futher increasing the temperature. The hardness and the friction coefficien t of C/C composites are reduced with the increasing of the heat treatment temper ature.
