Abstract
This paper has done the preliminary research on cell suspension culture of Opisthopappus taihangensis.The results show that the most suitable medium for callus induction using stem as its explant is MS+6-BA 2.0 mg·L-1+NAA 0.5 mg·L-1+2,4-D 1.0 mg·L-1.The callus grows fast and unconsolidated which is appropriate for cell suspension culture.To establish cell suspension culture,put the callus in liquid medium MS+6-BA 2.0 mg·L-1+2,4-D 0.5 mg·L-1 and shake.The growth curve of suspension cells is of a parabola type.At the beginning of the culture,cells increased slowly,and during 4 to 6 days,they reached logarithmic growth.6 days later,as a result of the large consumption of nutrients in medium and the pH value fallen off,the trend of increasing went down.
