Abstract

[Objective]To understand the situation of 31 kinds of pesticide residues in vegetables on sale in Shenyang,so as to further take measures for preventing,controlling and reducing pesticide residues in vegetables,and assure the health of consumers.[Methods]With random sampling,93 vegetable samples were selected from 8 kinds of vegetables sold in 3 supermarkets and 3 farm product markets in urban area of Shenyang in July,2006.Samples were tested according to GB methods of 31 kinds of pesticide residues.[Results]There are 17 kinds of pesticide residues in vegetables,and 6.45% vegetables had pesticide residues which were beyond the national standard.The rates of pesticide residues in cauliflower,allium vegetables and leaf vegetables were rather high;the detection rate of pesticide residues in 2004 was the highest(P﹤0.005),and the over-standard rates of pesticide residues were not significantly different.[Conclusions]It is necessary that multiple measures should be taken to prevent and control pesticide residues in vegetables,especially the residues of highly toxic pesticide.
