Abstract
The synthesis of dioctyl phthalate from phthalic anhydride and 2-ethyl hexanol over rare earth solid superacid SO_4~(2-)/TiO_2/Ce(Ⅳ)catalyst was studied. The influential factors on reaction were investigated. The results showed that the appropriate conditions were as follows:mole ratio of 2-ethyl hexanol to phthalic anhydride was 3∶1,the amount of catalyst was 1% of the weight of reactants, reaction temperature was 205℃,reaction time was 3 h.The yield of dioctyl phthalate may up to 97%.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
