Abstract
In 1940s,the unprecedented Irish Great Famine caused catastrophe to Irish people.The population decreased and the economy was destroyed.Many Irish people emigrated overseas which has great influence on economy and culture in the world.This paper analyzes the reasons of Irish Great Famine and talks about its influence and enlightenment.
