Abstract

Objective To observe the condition of congenital simple permanent teeth missing teeth of the patients. Methods To analyse the 91 cases of children's clinical data in dental clinic of our hospital with retrospective statistical analysis. Results Statistic patients missing 77 mandibular second premolar, missing 58 mandibular central incisors and the maxillary second premolar, missing 3 mandibular first molars, missing 3 maxillary first molars. The number of missing teeth between the upper and lower jaw(P = 0.224,t=-6.146) and the left and right(P=0.928,t=-6.514) has no significant difference(P0.05).Most of missing teeth were symmetrical distribution,76 cases'both sides missing, accounting for 83.5%(76/91).Conclusion Patients with simple congenital missing teeth in permanent teeth, third molars do not count, mandibular second premolar is the most vulnerable missing teeth.
