Alienation of labor and alienation of daily life——A comparison between the alienation theories of Lefebvre and Marx

Abstract

Alienation is one of the important topics of Marxist philosophy.As an existentialist Marxist,Lefebvre studied the alienation in daily life,explored the connotation of human's survival alienation,the root of alienation,the content of alienation theory and the elimination of alienation from a perspective different from Marx.He also expanded the labor alienation which was only applied in the economic field by Marx to the field of daily life,which enriched the theory of alienation.But he generalized and eternalized the alienation so that finally he came to a dilemma and could not break through.
