Abstract
Based on the energy conversation of proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) stack, the nonlinear temperature model of PEMFC stack with the large range of disturbances is developed. According to the new method of feedback linearization about the output with respect to the disturbances, the temperature model is linearized, and nonlinear controller is designed to hold the invariable temperature value of PEMFC stack by means of optimal control theory. The experiments and simulations indicate that the controller is applicable and valid.
