Investigation and Research of the Current Situation of Physical Exercises in Young Teachers of Universities and Colleges in China

Using the methods of literature searching,questionnaire investigation and statistical analysis,the author makes a study of the attitude,motive,time,place,form and courses of physical exercises among 612 young teachers who graduated from 77 universities and colleges in China and were assigned to work in various universities and colleges in Chongqing in 2008.This study helps to make clear the current situation of physical exercises of young teachers in Chinese universities and colleges,the factors affecting their participation in physical activities and the existing problems,and provides reference for the reform of physical education in universities and colleges in China.
