Abstract
Li Bai's spirit can be regarded as the peak of the traditional Chinese culture of being an official up to Tang Dynasty. The great political ideal of Li Bai is only a kind of politics in poem, which is an illusive political pursuit. Through his whole life, Li Bai had not performed his political ability, he fabricated a great pocitical ideal and strive it through his whole life but succeeded in the great giant poet with all his hard work. There are both active spirit of striving and philistinism in his life with less detailed content of the political ideal, but more admiration for fame and rank. The oneness of anchoret and immortal makes Li Bai become Li Bai.
