Abstract
[Objective] The aim was to study the partial tropism of Liriomyza sativae Blanchard on some kinds of flowers.[Method] Parameters of accumulative insect holes per cm2,accumulative insect holes per leaf and harmfulness rate were used to study on the effect of host selection preference and against the law of Liriomyza sativae Blanchard.[Result] Harmfulness of different months was studied for some flowers in this experiment. The harmfulness of Liriomyza sativae is not the same at different months for different flowers.Overall, the harmfulness is heavier in June than other months, wide in July, and have less harm in rainy months.Againsted peak of Salvia spcendens,Tagetes erecta and Gerbera jamesonii was in May,and harmfulness alleviated successively in June and July.Orychragmus violaceus O.E.Schulz.,Calendula officinalis,Spiraea trilobata and Zinnia elegans had less harmfulness in July than in June. The harmfulness of Liriomyza sativae Blanchard is heavier In June than other months, wide in July, and have less harm in August. This might be associated with more rain in July and August of 2008.[Conclusion] The harmfulness of Liriomyza sativae Blanchard is heavier in June than others, wide in July, and have less harm in rainy months.
