Abstract
Objective To understand the status of childhood abuse experiences and early moral character disorders,and explore the correlation between them in college students.Methods A total of 290 medical college third grade students were investigated retrospectively and in a secret convenience method with a self-designed questionnaire about childhood abuse experiences and early moral character disorders.Results The incidence of physical abuse was 86.9%;emotional abuse rate was 90.0%;sexual abuse rate was 14.1%;the incidence of emotional neglect was 62.8%.The incidence rates of physical abuse between men and women had a significant difference,but there were no significant differences in the others.The early moral character disorder rate was 16.9%,and the disorder rate in the boys was significantly higher than that in the girls.Conclusions The childhood abuse experience is not unusual in college students,and the early childhood abuse experience is one of important factors of impaired behaviors.
