Historical Studies on the Tujia Ethnic Costume

Based on the reviews of the findings of the previous studies on the Tujia ethnic costume,the article puts forward four-stage concept.Namely,the history of the Tujia ethnic costume consists of four stages: forma-tion,development,evolution and renovation,and the feature of each stage is individually analyzed.This would be of academic significance for deepening the study on the Tujia ethnic costume and practical value for promot-ing its innovation practice.
