A Preliminary Study of Historical Stages of the Tujia Natiornal Clothing

This article outlines the general analysis of the historical stages of the Tujia clothing. It has been illustrated that the evolution of the Tujia clothing is composed of three historical grades: primary period which is about 10th century ago; Tushi policies period influenced by the Han economy, and Liu Guan Policies Period infected by feudalism thoroughly. Furthermore, a point of view has been pointed out, that the Tujia clothing is not only showing up the influence from other strong cultures according to outside of appearance and dress, but also as to inside of the appearance and dress, implicating the nationalism character of Tujia nationality.
