Abstract
Effects of different concentrations of pyrene in soil on the growth and several physiological characteristics of Brassica oleracea seedlings were studied. The results showed that pyrene had little effects on the seed germination, but suppressed the plant height, root length and leaf area, significantly.Pyrene stress brought about the reduction of chlorophyll a,chlorophyll b obviously. The MDA contents, cell membrane permeability,SOD activity,POD activity and CAT activity in seedling were enhanced, and were alleviated slightly at last by pyrene.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
