Abstract
Vigorously promoting the industrialization of cellulosic fuel-ethanol could help alleviate the energy crisis and environmental pollution from fossil energy combustion in a long time. In this paper, the recent industrialization progress of cellulosic ethanol in six countries(China, USA, Canada, Sweden, Japan, Spain and Brazil) was mainly introduced, and raw cellulosic materials and technologies used in various demonstration and commercial plants were discussed. Finally, it was proposed that cellulosic fuel-ethanol could be commercialized only if several bottlenecks existing in sugar and syngas platforms were broken out.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
