Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between refrative surgery and corneal topography, and to provide the theory evidence for using corneal topography in pilot selection. Methods 34 eyes of pilot candidates were examined by computer corneal topographer.Corneal topography and central diopter were compared and analysed. Results Among 34 eyes,18 eyes were not operated, their corneal topography was smooth, the average value of central diopter was 42.47D.16 eyes were operated, their corneal topography was mainly central island, the average value of central diopter was 40.73D.There was significant difference between two groups. Conclusions It is objective and effective for using corneal topography to identify pilot candidates who got operated in pilots selection.
