Abstract

Objective To evaluate the application value of distribution characteristics in cornea thickness of myopia by using Orbscan corneal topography system. Methods The central corneal thickness of myopia in 55 cases(109 eyes) were measured by Orbscan corneal topography system. Results There were no significant differences in central corneal thickness and diopter between high myopic eyes and low to moderate myopic eyes(P0.05).Conclusion Orbscan corneal topography system is a noninvasive and accurate test which can conveniently be used to measure different corneal thickness of myopic diopter.Using in the preoperative and postoperative examination of refractive surgery,it can guide to establish the operation scheme, exclude of keratoconus and other operation contraindications. It has wide application prospects in the basic research of cornea.
