Discussion on the Necessity of Constructing and developing University digital Library

This paper described the specific meaning of the digital library.Through digital libraries and traditional libraries comparison to illustrate the various aspects of digital libraries in the advantages,further elaborated the necessity and significance of establishing a digital library in the university.At the same time,give some suggestions on the establishment of a modern digital library according to the digital library development under both domestic and international status.
