Abstract
Deng Xiaoping’s theory of socialism has the distinct character of the times.Under the new historical condition when peace and economic development have become the main theme of the world,Deng reexamined the essence of socialism and took the development of social productive forces as the norm and put it in every aspect of socialism,which,as it is,a great contribution to scientific socialism.
