Abstract
The characteristics of species composition,quantity distribution and biodiversity of macrobenthos in Nanpeng Island Water of Guangdong were analyzed.The results indicated that there were totally 64 species belonging to 46 families in the 6 investigated sites.Species of filose,crustacean and mollusk were the richest,and comprised 86% of all species.The average biomass and density were 102.08 g/m2 and 201.67 ind/m2,respectively.The crustacean and filose contributed to the biggest biomass and density,respectively.The Shannon-Wiener diversity index(H′) was at a high level,distributing in the range of 2.58~3.41 with an average of 2.99.And the evenness(J) was 0.86~0.96,with an average of 0.93.
