Abstract
Using direct powder compression methods and regarding release rate in vitro as an indicator, the formulations are optimized by adjusting the dosages of sustained-release framework material(EudragitⅡ),cefradine sustained-release tablets are prepared and the influences of dosage forms,in vitro drug release experiment, compression force and release media on cumulative release rate have been investigated. Results have shown that the design of sustained-release tablets is reasonable and the reproducibility of the technology is satisfactory. In addition, the release behavior is in full accordance with the Weibull equation and the in vitro release rate is consistent with the requirements of Chinese pharmacopeia(Edition 2010).
