Abstract
To investigate the distribution of cag Ⅱ in Helicobacter pylori(H·pylori) isolated from Chinese patients, and its relationship to gastroduodenal diseases. Methods Fragment in cag Ⅱ was amplified by polymerase chain reaction(PCR) in 107 H·pylori strains from Chinese patients. Results The amplicom to cag Ⅱ was positive in 74 strains, in which 43 strains come from patients of chronic gastritis and 27 strains from of peptic ulcer and 4 strains from of gastric carcinoma. Conclusion cag Ⅱ distributed in most of Chinese H·pylori strains. No data proved the relation between the existance of cag Ⅱand occurrence of H·pylori related diseases.
