Abstract
It is easy to adjust the geometric models of different product s which have similar structures by using structure parametric design method.By usi ng this method, the FEA model can be easily create by adjusting several geometri c parameters and the analyzing process of FEA is automatically executed. The eff iciency is improved and the time for products design will be shortened greatly.F urther more.By using the ANSYS Parametric Design Language(APDL),the FEA process including creating FEA model and analysis steps are discussed. A practical param etric FEA model of a crossbeam is established and stress analys is done by using this method. The results show that this method overcomes a lot of repeated FEA tasks and improves efficiency of products structure designs.
