Abstract
[Objective] To study the effect factors on pregnancy outcome after intrauterine insemination. [Methods] There are 1155 intrauterine insemination cycles. Compare the pregnancy rate between nature cycles and the ovarian hyperstimulation cycles. According to the sperm amounts, all the cycles were divided into 4 groups: sperm count≥40×106/mL, 30×106/mL≤sperm count 40×106/mL, 20×106/mL≤sperm count 30×106/mL, sperm count 20×106/mL.Then we compared the pregnancy rate of the 4 groups. After sperm swim-up, the cycles were divided into 2 groups: ≥40 /HPF and 40 /HPF, compare the pregnancy rate of the two groups. [Results] Pregnancy occurred in 127 cycles, the pregnancy rate is 11.0%. The pregnancy rate was significantly higer in the ovarian hyperstimulation. The pregnancy rate was significantly lower in the group which sperm count was less than 20×106/mL. [Conclusion] Ovarian hyperstimulation can increase the pregnancy rate. Sperm count is an important factor in intrauterine insemination.
