Abstract
Through the discussion of CBM characteristics and detection of CBM content and in combination with the study of drilling data,the reserves and its distributive rules of the key coal seam(Seam M2,M6,M14,M16 and M30)from Majiatian Coal Mine were studied.The results show that along the coal seam outcrop to deep(southern) extension,the coalbed methane content increased gradually,the methane resources of the main coal seams(M6,M16 and M30)which are greater than 8 cm3/g.daf of the average content of CBM in the coal mine are calculated,the result is 2.2×108m3,3.2×108m3 and 0.8×108m3 respectively,CBM resource is abundant in Majiatian Coal Mine,the exploitation is of high value.
