Abstract

Coal resource is abundant in Qianxi County,Guizhou Province.The coal measures in this area present the characteristics of steady thickness,multi-coal seams,abundant CBM and well quality.CBM volumes of main coal seams were estimated based on the gas content test.Sediment data of 11 wells in the coalfield were used.Additionally,CBM distribution maps of the main coal seams in the coalfield were charted.The study would supply important data for the development and utilization of CBM resource.
