Study on Flocculation Procedure with Chitosan for Lujiao Buxue Granules

Objective To study the flocculation process with chitosan for Lujiao Buxue Granules.Methods On the basis of the one-factor investigation such as the dosage of chitosan,the concentration and pH of the extracting solution,temperature and whisking etc,the orthogonal design was selected to measure the effects on the chitosan dosage,the extracting solution concentration and extracting solution pH.Results The optimal flocculation process conditions were that the adding dosage of chitosan was 0.6mL /g,the concentration of meterials vs extract solution was 1∶5,the pH was 6,the flocculation temperature was 70℃,the whisking speed was 350 r/min and the whisking time was 5 minutes.Conclusion The flocculation process with chitosan can be used to improve the preparing teniques of Lujiao Buxue Granules.
