Studies on the Chinese endemic families and genera of the seed plant flora in Qinling Mountain

It is a high level endemism of Qinling Mountain seed plant flora with 5 endemic families and 44 endemic genera. The quantity component , biology characteristic and geographic distribution of the endemic families and genera are studied in this paper. The result shows that the endemic families and genera are rich in flora, the endemic elements mostly are temperate. The origin of flora is ancient and it contact with subtropical and tropical mountain in the south of China. Qinling Mountain is not only a key region of the Chinese endemic families and genera, but also an important boundary line of the south and north distribution about of many endemic families and genera.
