Abstract

By using the geographical and statistical analysis methods, this paper analyses the spatial distribution's characteristics and regional differences of A-grade tourist attractions in Shandong province. The result shows that:(1) A-grade tourist attractions in Shandong province have a large difference in the spatial distribution, and the structure of different-grade tourist attractions is the less-more-less pattern.(2)A-grade tourist attractions in Shandong province present strong characteristics of concentrated distribution and imbalance in space, the grade of scenic spots in 17 cities is quite different.(3)the regional difference of Shandong A-grade tourist attractions is obvious, which is influenced by tourism resources, levels of economic development, geographical environment, population and traffic.Based on these results, this paper proposes several suggestions to optimize the spatial distribution of A-grade tourist attractions.
