Abstract
Objective To investigate relationship between borderline amniotic fluid index and unfavourable perinatal outcomes. Methods Case control study were conducted to evaluate the perinatal outcomes of pregnant women with borderline amniotic fluid index diagnosed by ultrasonography. Results The rates of neonatal asphyxia, cesarean delivery, stained amniotic fluid and SGA in case group were significantly higher than those in control group (OR: 8.05, 5.13, 2.60, 6.50, respectively, P0.05). Conclusion Borderline AFI is a sensitive predictor of perinatal unfavourable outcomes.[
